Cold Case is a CBS drama based around the fictional police department, Philadelphia Police Department. The division is specializing in the investigation of cold cases.

The show stars Kathryn Morris as Lilly Rush. Lilly is a female detective of the Philadelphia Department who is assigned in the cold cases, meaning the crimes that were never solved. Before she was assigned to the special homicide department, Lilly was working to understand the minds of the criminals involved in the current murder she is handling. Now, Lilly will have to investigate and get into the lives of witnesses since the occurrence of the crime.

With the use of the latest technology, Lilly tries to solve the cold cases to prevent the suspects from committing any crime in the future. Lilly works with a team to help her with solving the cold cases. The team includes Lt. John Stillman, played by actor John Finn; Det. Scotty Valens, played by actor Danny Pinno; Det. Will Jeffries, played by actor Thom Barry, and Det. Nick Vera, played by Jeremy Ratchford.

Cold Case is a show which gives justice to the victims of crimes, even those have been forgotten in the past.
